Camel Jockies
I’m MIA this week but wanted you to know you’re all winners who read this blog!
So I leave you with some choice findings from a 1995 Camel racing magazine from the days when it was still legal to send small children galloping on humpback at upwards of 20mph.

I liked this spread because at first glance I see an expose about the Fagan of Camel Racing.
He loves his boys, he teaches them trades!

Just wanted to say that I’ve really enjoyed following your blog over the last several months.
I have been in Qatar for almost 5 years and will soon be leaving. My one regret is that I have not managed to really connect with many people here–something I believe is essential if you’re going to enjoy living somewhere. However, your blog did help provide me with a really interesting perspective on, well many things. Not the least of which was pirate perfumes, ha!
So, thanks! And I look forward to following your posts into the future.
